About Me

Hi, I’m Kim So glad you’re here!

With 20+ years of fitness experience, I am passionate about Pilates and the MELT Method, as they create the foundation for healthy and mobile everyday living. I encourage you to make Pilates and MELT a part of your daily routine to become more grounded and to get out of and stay out of chronic aches and pains. The combination of both modalities is life changing.

From 2002 - 2017 I successfully founded, owned and operated Core Pilates NYC; growing my business from 450 square feet to 4500 square feet. During that time I cultivated a successful Teacher Training Program educating and inspiring Pilates Instructors both nationally and internationally.

The MELT Method came into my life in 2014 and I have grown into the company as a Senior MELT Instructor and Assistant to the Director of Education and Master MELT Instructor Kerrie Bodendorf where I have assisted in training thousands of MELT instructors both in person and virtually.

Certifications

My certifications include: Classical Pilates Training with Bob Liekens and Power Pilates, The National Pilates Certification Program (NCPC), The MELT® Method Level 5 Training, Anatomy in Clay®, Functional Anatomy for Movement and Injuries (FAMI) from Mt. Sinai Hospital, Gil Hedley’s 5–Day Intensive Hands On Human Dissection Course, and currently studying Alex Effer’s Evolve Mentorship Program.

My second passion... nourishing your body with food. As a self taught home cook I love cooking with the freshest organic ingredients to create awareness in making the best food choices daily that are healthy but still interesting and delicious. I believe that eating healthy does not mean eliminating the foods that you know best, but can be an exciting exploration of new flavors and creative combinations of beautiful ingredients. Let me awaken your palate and change the way you look at food.
