So we are into week two. How are you feeling? For me I feel more awake during my awake hours and am sleeping more soundly. One thing that I always find interesting is that everything looks brighter. My guess is when your body is working more efficiently your senses are heightened. I'm not really craving sweets or carbs. When I see other people eating them I just think about how weighed down I feel after eating them. I do miss the taste but definitely don't miss that sluggish bloated feeling.
One key points of the cleanse is to be eliminating toxins. Through the skin as I had posted last week with salt baths, sweating and scrubbing. But you've also got to make sure the bowels are moving. One thing I rely on is my squatty potty!! I've got a bamboo one but I also found the one I've got listed here. When I am traveling I sometimes use the small garbage pails in the bathrooms, put them on their side and put my feet up on it. It really makes a difference!! Try it.
